Caring EOL IT Drives Charity Efforts

EOL IT Services has come to the rescue of a number of charities – and the company’s help is stretching as far as Africa and the Caribbean.

EOL IT, a leading IT solutions company from Maldon in Essex, has maintained a policy of donating refurbished IT equipment to deserving causes and among its recent help has been to a cancer charity devastated by burglars and another helping children in Kenya and the Dominican Republic.

Among the latest charities to benefit from EOL’s help is the Helen Rollason cancer charity which has received a PC.

The charity’s centre in Romford was recently devastated by heartless vandals who wrecked the interior of the building and stole some of its vital IT equipment. It is this year’s selected charity of the Boreham House Stately Home and after hearing of the raid, staff there approached EOL IT for help. EOL IT replaced the lost computer with a refurbished and more up-to-date model.

Teresa Ward of Boreham House said: “EOL IT were very generous in donating a PC so that the Helen Rollason charity could function properly again. We’d like to thank the company very much.”

EOL IT also donated a laptop to a BBC Essex-backed appeal to help the charity work of the Hallmead School in Upminster, which aids children living in poverty in Kenya and the Dominican Republic.

A laptop has also been donated to Maldon Home-Start to assist the work of the charity. Home-Start offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children throughout the Maldon district.
