Mobile Data Shredder for smaller organisations and/or smaller quantitites
The correct destruction of redundant data is paramount but the process is often delayed because company policy prohibits the data to be sent off site and/or the quantities are small. This delay can often leave companies open to data theft which can have devastating results.
EOL IT Services provides on site data destruction services which allows for the disposal of large quantities of media. However, we are also able to offer a mobile shredder (powered by a standard 240 volt/13 amp wall socket) which provides a cost effective solution for smaller companies or those organisations with limited quantities of electronic media requiring destruction.
EOL will deliver the data shredder to your facility and our personnel will carry out the destruction on site and provide you with relevant certification. Alternatively, we can install the data shredder on site for your personnel to carry out the destruction. This alternative option will require a training session which would be carried out by one of our team.
The mobile data shredder has been specifically designed to shred standard hard drives, DLTs, CDs and DVDs, video tapes, cell phones and other small communicative devices, hand held data devices, floppies, VHS/Beta tapes and memory sticks.
The media is destroyed using high strength teeth which physically rip and tear the material into small particles. These particles are then fed into an internal storage bin (a conveyor belt attachment can be provided for larger quantities). The waste material is reduced to pieces of approximately 15-20mm.

Requirements
- The mobile data shredder is not suitable for use in an open plan office due to noise emissions and will require to be housed in a separate room such as a store room
