How can your old IT equipment make a difference?
At EOL we often discuss the residual value that may be present in your redundant IT equipment and how this can help dwindling IT budgets … but what about helping others?
EOL’s clients can choose to donate any residual value in redundant IT equipment to a charity of their choice or in the case of many of our clients, EOL’s chosen charity.
Recently an EOL Client donated over £5000 to our chosen charity – Lifelites. Lifelites is a natural choice for EOL to support because of the work it does for terminally ill and disabled children, through the magic of technology.
Supporting the LifeLites Charity.
Lifelites donates and maintains specialist packages of assistive and inclusive technology for the 10,000 terminally ill and disabled children at all 54 children’s hospices across the British Isles. Every package costs over £50,000 over its four year lifespan and the technology provided helps children to play, be creative, communicate and control something for themselves, for as long as it is possible.
Their mission is to enrich the lives of children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in children’s hospices by providing them with the latest assistive and inclusive technologies relevant to their needs and abilities and to support them with maintenance and training, all free of charge.
