Our good friends at The Wilderness Foundation UK are on a mission – and we want to help them!
They desperately need funding for various new projects and at EOL we have decided our mission, is to help them in any way we can.
Engaging over 5,000 people per year with the benefits and enjoyment of wild nature, their programmes develop future sustainability leaders, build resilience in vulnerable teenagers with challenging lives and mental health issues, introduce rural employment to urban youth, and bring curriculum-based sciences to life in the outdoors.

But all this requires funding – and this is
where we want to help!
For every collection of IT equipment* booked in February and March 2020 – EOL will donate £10 to The Wilderness Foundation. Our target, is to raise £1500 for them during this campaign and this could help to fund the following:

For an individual place on one of their “Turnaround” programmes (this takes place over a period of 6-9 months including two wilderness therapy programmes, weekly mentoring, skills training, monthly workshops, social evenings, graduation and ongoing support.)

Funds the hire of a mini-bus to transport children from East London and further afield to bring classes to the Chatham Green Project.

Funds Wilderness Therapy (for a young person who is at risk and in need of intensive intervention). This is a wilderness based expedition or camping experience with therapists and outdoor staff in attendance.

Funds an individual to access 8 sessions of one-to-one counselling (for those in need suffering from trauma, neglect, depression, anxiety and a range of other issues).
